ERA webinar on the non-CO2 effects of aviation

2 May 2023: There is currently a general interest in focussing on the non-CO2 impact of aviation, as several legislative proposals are at stake at the European level. Indeed, further studies are needed to understand the impact and a simple common metric is necessary to measure non-CO2 effects, as measures and reporting will be mandatory for airlines by 2024, and this could also be integrated in ETS as a factor.

However, because of its benefit and the main technologies, regional aviation can tell a different story and become a leader in this field.

As such, organising a webinar on non-CO2 impacts for ERA members would be an opportunity to share our members’ knowledge and to highlight the main benefits of regional aviation. It would take place in the next months, but the date still is to be confirmed.

ERA will provide a draft agenda as soon as all the inputs from the members have been collated.
