Nick Rhodes

Nick represents the ERA membership on all operational and strategic matters relating to Air Traffic Management including capacity, environment and flow management as well as the ongoing development and deployment of the Single European Sky ATM Research Programme (SESAR)  He is also responsible for Communication / Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) topics such as Data-Link, Performance Based Navigation and Aircraft Tracking. 

With over 20 years aviation experience, Nick started his airline career with Flybe and held a number of operational and management positions before forming his own consultancy which saw him working closely with agencies such as EUROCONTROL and the Network Manager as well a variety of aviation trade bodies, air navigation service providers and the SESAR Joint Undertaking. 

Having previously chaired a number of operational platforms both in the UK and in Europe on behalf of the airspace user community, he now sits on various European Commission, EUROCONTROL and EASA consultative groups and forums on behalf of the ERA member airlines. 

Nick is responsible for the ERA Operations Group.
