Jacob Fruhling
Jacob Fruhling's aviation journey began nearly 25 years ago as a General Aviation technician, balancing his work with undergraduate studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he pursued a degree in Aerospace Engineering. During this period, he honed his skills through Air Force Reserve Officer training and earned his private pilot's license. His unwavering passion for aviation led him to his first postgraduate role at Delta Airlines, focusing on reliability and engine shop management for regional airlines.
In 2007, Fruhling joined Pratt & Whitney Canada, taking on various roles, including Field Support Manager in the Pacific Northwest, where he covered all product lines from regional to business aviation customers. His career progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, from Marketing Account Manager supporting five OEMs to Customer Service Program Management and managing the PW800 Flight Test/Development phase for the Gulfstream G500/G600.
Over the past four years, Fruhling has dedicated his efforts to New Product and Service Introductions for P&WC's large derivative and new centerline products. In April 2024, he advanced to the executive staff at P&WC, coming full circle to oversee Regional Aviation Customer Service, reconnecting with his roots in aviation.
