Aer Lingus Regional flights are operated by the ATR 72-600, the latest generation of turboprop aircraft combining environmental and economic performance. The ATR 72-600 has a significant environmental advantage over regional jets and turboprops, emitting 40 per cent less CO₂. 

The airline was awarded the Safety Award and the sought-after Aviation Company of the Year Award at the Irish Aviation Awards (2023).
