With its 2,500m runway (Cat 4e) and facilities GRQ is fully equipped to handle a wide range of aircraft (up to Code E) to serve both the passenger and air freight market. With its 22MW airside solar park and located in the heart of Europe’s first Hydrogen Valley, GRQ is a frontrunner in the field of sustainability and innovation and is currently working on the Hydrogen Valley Airport concept; a full-scale green hydrogen infrastructure – from production to usage – at the airport’s premises.
