Braathens Regional Airlines is one of Sweden’s leading domestic airlines, with a Swedish market share of 30 per cent. Braathens Regional Airlines operates ~20 routes mainly domestic. Braathens Regional Airlines’ on-time punctuality outperforms all other airlines in the world. In 2016, 2017 and 2018, Braathens Regional Airlines received awards as the airline with the most satisfied passengers in Sweden. The airline was formed in 2016 after consolidation of several domestic air carriers. The company’s aviation DNA reaches back to 1946 when the very first airline of the Braathen family was founded. With a high sustainability ambition, travel is offered on board new modern propeller aircraft of the type ATR 72-600, the world's most climate-efficient regional aircraft. BRA is the only commercial airline in the world to compensate for more than all its CO2 emissions at no extra cost to travellers. In addition, since 2018, Braathens Regional Airlines offers its customers to choose sustainable aviation fuel when booking the flight, and already in 2009 the company was environmentally certified by ISO14001 as the world's first passenger airline. Braathens Regional Airlines is committed to SBTi with the goal to reach net zero according to the standard, by 2030.
