Hybrid Air Vehicles
Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) is a UK-based company that has developed Airlander, the world’s most efficient large aircraft. Airlander can reduce emissions by up to 90 per cent at market entry, when compared to conventional aircraft in similar roles, and will deliver zero-emissions flight by 2030. Airlander 10, the first in a family of aircraft, will carry 100 passengers or 10 tonnes of freight. Airlander offers substantial cost savings, minimal environmental impact and logistical benefits that cannot be matched by other forms of aviation. HAV’s orderbook is growing, with Air Nostrum Group, Europe’s largest regional airline, poised to be the launch airline customer.
